My favorite fishing spot in Kenya

Most anglers in Kenya like a fancy, exclusive spot to do their fly fishing. Lake Rutundu with its big browns and cozy cottages, or the exclusive fly fishers club houses on the Mathioya.

But my favorite spot in Kenya is in the humble Aberdares National Park.

Why? Because the fish are hungry, the angling is tricky, and there is nobody else around. The last time we went, my friend and I caught over 30 fish in pretty poor weather.

I'm going back in a couple weeks, and am having a 2v2 fishing competition with my good buddies.
